endless loop for help

the latest update wont go through, at 99 percent of the validate part it drops out with the " there was a problem with the update" post, so ive tried 5 times in the last 12 hours to the same result. Now ive been on the help line that is given in the same
post which in turn keeps looping me (4 times now) to talk to a real person. how am i supposed to use this machine when it wont let it update yet tells me i cant use my xbox without the update? It was working fine before now is basically a paper weight, im
seriously considering switching to playstation as this is [Mod Removed – Profanity] Hands down the worse customer service and stuff around i have ever had to deal with.

i have now had the update sorted, i still dont understand why it is impossible to get any help from this company or why it is when you do do as the site tells you it will not help, only sticks you in a loop of tabs to not get any help. still hands down the
worse customer service in the world.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Forums!

We understand this is frustrating and confusing since the console will not working since it is stuck on the update. We would recommend trying a hard wired connection because it could be that it is losing the connection. If not, then try one of these other
options. Either try to do a
Soft Factory Reset or an offline system update. The soft reset is the option to "keep my games and apps". As for the offline system update, you will need at least
a 4Gb USB.

Side Note:
It is
very important to make sure you know the primary email/password to the account before removing
it from the console.

To check the email being used with the gamertag, go to
Settings > Account > sign-in, security & passkey;
in middle column at the top it will say "show on home"
if it is checked it will rotate from gamertag and email on homepage. If it is not check marked, it will show in this box.

When you go to
Contact Us to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

Step 1 ----select Xbox One
Step 2 ----select see more options then subscription changes
Step 3-----select show contact options
Step 4 ----select request a call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.
