End of Life Forza Games

Good morning,

I am looking for Forza Horizon 1 or Forza Motorsport 5 games on the Xbox Marketplace and I found that they are not available for purchasing.

I have also found some prepaid cards on-line that should unlock those games. If I buy those prepaid cards and redeem the codes on the Xbox Marketplace, will I be able to unlock those "End of Life" Games and proceed to download them as if they were available
like any other games???

Suggestion Forza horizon 2 Xbox 360

Likely the same thing that happened to Forza Horizon 1 (September 2016) and Forza Motorsport 5 (September 2017) when they went GWG, and got pulled from the store shortly after. When a game uses copyrighted assets (real life brands,
music, characters, etc), there is a temporary license to allow the company to sell the game. When the license expires, the game reaches "end of life" status, and it must be pulled from the online store.

The removal won't affect current owners of the game, physical and digital. You just won't be able to purchase the digital version after the end of September, when FH2 is apparently supposed to be pulled.

 

Xbox Fitness End of Life?

Please bring back the Xbox Fitness app. that was amazing. Its really the only reason to even have Kinect. I absolutely loved using the app. I was going to purchase the new Xbox One S, looks like now i'll just get PS4 and save money unless Fitness is
back by New Years.

if they are not available for purchasing on the Store I personally doubt any prepaid cards will work. The best option would be to find Disc versions for those games, they should work just fine.

 

I believe Forza 1 has been removed from the store due to licensing issues with the music, and the only option to purchase now would be a physical copy of the game.

 

I would have thought 25 character codes still work. Just be careful who you buy them from and make sure you can get a refund if it fails to work.
