    Enabling 3D


    When enabling 3D on my Xbox one, the screen returns to the display manufacturer logo, flickers the HDMI input icon from recognized to unrecognized, then displays the xbox menu again with 3d unchecked.

    I am using a high quality HDMI, with a InFocus IN3114 3D projector.

    Any ideas?

    Gears of War 3 is amazing in 3D!!

    everytime i go into the video options on Gears of War 3 and enable 3D, it splits the screen in two. so how exactly are you enabling 3D?

    3D mode

    You should be able to enable 3D in-game. While HDMI is not strictly required for every title (Gears of War and Black Ops will enable 3D even over Component), consumer equipment may not allow enabling 3D mode over Component. Also, some games (Halo Anniversary)
    will not enable 3D mode unless a 3D device is found over HDMI.

    Hi there.

    What is your resolution set to? Your projector shows a native 1024x768 which may cause the issues. Also when you go to 3D does it give you side by side or any other options? One thing to try would to force 1080 on the Xbox and Projector rather than using
    auto select.

    Will the xbox 360 get 3D update?

    The 360 has already recieved a "3d update" go under your system settings and you will find the options to select screen size in inches and also to enable/disable the feature. See, already in there kids. The caveat is that products MUST be 3d...just like
    any 3d enabled product, the software whether movies or games must be 3d encoded. So lets go easy on the fanyboyisms and enjoy the 3d...cause, again its already there....if you have 3d tv and 3d enabled games/movies...ENJOY!

    3D gaming

    Black Ops 2 has true 3D support. It has to be manually enabled. Once enabled the TV can be set to a 3D mode to match.
