Enabling 2FA with epic games

Hi all,

I have been trying to enable 2FA with epic games for my daughter. The issue I am having is that I can't sign in with Xbox live. I keep getting a message saying, "There was an error processing the credentials from the external login system. Please contact
Support".

I can't seem to find an email address for Xbox live and I have been all over the page to try sort it out to no avail.

Now I am no "tech wizz" but can usually work it out. I can't even add my daughters gmail address to her account as it tells me the email is already in use though I can't seem to see it anywhere on her xbox live account. Her account has her Outlook account
and epic has her gmail account. The gamertag is also different to epics.

Can someone please help me out with, 1) Either changing everything to come in line with epic or 2) signing into epic with the current credentials so I can enable 2FA.

I apologize for seeming like I know nothing, as I said I can usually work around these things but have hit a wall.

Step by step instructions would be awesome.

The epic games and xbox account are different unless you make them with the same E-mail, as it is not the case you need to log into Epic games with the E-mail that you said was already an existing one, if you don't remember the password try to recover it
by clicking on "I forgot my password"

After completing the account recovery process, you will link your Epic Games account with your Xbox account. It is very simple

1 - Go to Conections.

2 - Acounts

3 - You will see the xbox icon and below connect

4 - Log in to your account

Ok, now the 2FA, after you do all this things it's simple

1 - Go to Password and security

2 - Below there will be 3 methods

Application

SMS

E-Mail confirmer

Chose one or I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but it is possible to activate all.

that has to be done on the epic site as it is their account and servers

login to epic website and then head to account, security and you can enable 2FA
