    When you opt in for ultimate the gold account is upgraded and converted over. When you cancel the ultimate since you were upgraded and converted to it there is no gold to go back to. You will need to subscribe again.

    Sorry to hear it. If you're Ultimate was paired and you cancelled the pass then the Gold membership would have been cancelled as well. If you used a pre paid membership card to get your membership then I'm afraid there is no way to get it back up and running.

    However, if you paid via paypal or credit/debit card then you can request a refund on the unused amount at

    Once you upgraded to Xbox game pass ultimate, your Xbox live gold will be carried over to Xbox game pass ultimate. For example, if you have Xbox live gold for a year and you upgraded it to Xbox game pass ultimate, your Xbox live gold and xbox game pass for
    console and PC will also be good for 13 months (12 months Xbox live gold+1 month upgrade Xbox game pass Ultimate). If you cancelled the Xbox game pass ultimate, automatically your Xbox live will also be cancelled since it is already merged to the Ultimate.
    You need to contact Xbox Support to reinstate your lost membership.
