Empty system folder

Hi guys.. I have a problem finding my system settings... its blank...and i need it to access local saved files so i can contnue to play crash. Keeps telling me to delete and resync... when i go to settings and scroll down on to system theres nothing there?

I only upgraded last week so i could just be dense lol

Thanks for getting back to me .....yes I check emails everyday and empty spam folder ....nothing from you guys as of yet . Does your system show as emailed ?

 

missing games-games folder empty

When going to my gaming content the folder appears to be empty. I did recently change regions on my account profile from US to NZ. When I go into the marketplace however and find a game i own or previously downloaded I can play them from there.

Will I need to download my profile again or do I need to redownload game content and if so where?

I would try a hard reboot of the console, unplug it and plug it back in. If this does not help, I think you will need to do a factory reset, but I would call tech support first.

 

You can manage your data for individual games through My games & apps on your Home screen. Here's how:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select My games and apps.
2. Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game.
3. In the menu on the left of the screen, scroll down to Saved Data, then highlight the saved data for your gamertag on the right and press the A button on your controller.
4. You'll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data:
   • Delete from console removes the local copy of this save. You can get it from the cloud the next time you play.
   • Delete everywhere removes your saved data from this console, the cloud, and all other consoles you play on.
   • Cancel leaves your data intact.

Felix from Xbox forums support here. I would try a complete Xbox Factory Reset.

Before you try that.. make sure you know your Microsoft email and password because you will need to re-download your profile

back onto the xbox and reconnect to your network / wifi. It sounds like your console needs to be reset so that the console is

totally refreshed and updated.

Ive already done this... with the last game i installed... tryin not to have to do it again lol. Thanks tho

 

Awesome... this worked a treat.. sorta.. says now it cant sync your data woth the cloud! but theres nothing to sync.. only got the game today lol.

 

Ill do it again.. thanks!.. the first time there was no system at all... this time i got one.. but its empty... third time lucky lol

 

What can happen is you get a corrupted save on both the Xbox and Cloud, that would cause sync problems. In that case it's best to remove the save from everywhere if you haven't got so far into the game.

 

Ive never used the cloud before i only upgraded from my 360 a few days ago lol.. and was never on line with it... is there any way to just save om the hard drive?

 

All your saved data is stored on the Xbox and on Cloud by default, there is no option to save to one or the other by default. That way you always have a backup should things go wrong, however a bad save can be uploaded to cloud so you get messed up either
way in that instance,
