Emily wants to play! Cannot start game when told to press A

Purchased 'Emily wants to play' on xbox one and I have tried everything to get it started but when told to press A on screen nothing happens. Tried the usual restart, re download etc but nothing. Please help thanks

I don't want to use Gamertag during games!

well 2 things

first emily would be a commonly used name and probably taken already

for online purposes you must have a unique name

for the first 30days after sign up you can change your name to anything that is available try to be unique in the spelling like numbers etc

if you don't want to be online and really want to use the name emily you will have to create a seperate profile for offline only

please keep in mind some kinect games require online access

gamesaves and achievements cannot be transfered between accounts

 

Emily Wants To Play - 2 Achievements won't unlock

Hey there,

I'm having trouble with these two achievements:

- Creepy invitation

- Never Let Them Leave

I've met the requirements a dozen times (they're pretty easy really, picking up a note and listening to a tape) but I never unlocked the achievements. I never got the 100%, no sign of "Done...unlocking". Just complete nothing.

I tried to uninstall the game and install it back, but no luck. I even tried to write the producer an email, but never got an answer.

What else can I try?
