Emergency Bug: Widespread Affect Both Here And On Multiple Other Forums Today

Posted this in one of the other "games crashing" threads, deserves much more attention and needs to go to the top of the list as more and more people are reporting it today.

My XB1 ran flawlessly prior to 9/4/2014, never had a problem, and now no game via disc/download or even demo, will start.

After a long period of time if throws up the "XXX...took too long to load" error and kicks you back to desktop. All the apps work fine, including YouTube and Netflix, but no game program will run currently.

Tried power cycling in every way (unplug from wall, unplug ac adapter, leave for 10 minutes, etc) multiple times, same exact problem.

I stupidly even did a factory rest to try and solve it...nope, same issue, no game will load regardless of whether it's on disc, downloaded, or even a random demo.

Worse, four of my friends are also reporting the same exact problem, when no problems existed prior to a day or two ago (update flaw?)

MS people: This is NOT a "we'll look into it" problem.

This is a major show-stopping emergency, one you need to isolate and resolve immediately.

This is a "call everyone in on Saturday/Sunday" issue...yep, it's that big if I have 20% of my friends list reporting the same problem coincidentally 24-48 hours after the September update.

GET IT FIXED.

Getting Unk Error: 'EV_BULLET' on XBox One

Same here. One profile yesterday getting multiple attempts on Advanced Warfare, rebooted and then it did work. Today attempted multiple times on another profile, ev_bullet error time after time, both profiles and multiple shut downs and restarts. Multi player
works fine.

What's the deal here?

 

Network transfer issue

Yup both on same version. I actually took them both off preview program and made sure both were completely up to date. Still not working. Seems to be pretty widespread. I posted a topic on Reddit abt it and I had multiple folks with same issue.

 

My Problem is like this but a little different. I don't know about games but whenever i try to run Netflix or Youtube it will play for a min or two, freeze and then shutdown the system. Like you it only started to do this after the recent update. I even
tried doing the factory reset and when it started up and did the intro video, 20 seconds in and it froze and shutdown. And it's really starting to make me angry since Destiny comes out in a few days and i don't know if it will do this during the game cutscenes
or not.

Same issue for me here (France). None of my games are starting (disc/downloaded) for 2 days !!!

I've contacted MS support by phone and done a manual update (on USB Key) without succes ...
