    Email Security


    I was logging into my account from my computer and I was asked to add a backup email just in case, which is rather typical stuff. I tried to add that second email, but I was told to enter in a code that would be sent to that second email. I never got that
    code. Not in my spam or anywhere. I'm not really sure if this is an Xbox problem or just this login in general, but I just wanted to make it known that this problem is present and hopefully be told how to try to enter that second email in again because I have
    never been asked again for it.

    So I am trying to change some settings and it asks to send a verification email, the email it wants to send to is old and inactive. (not my login email)

    Is there an easy solve for this, or am I likely to be making a phone call.

    Anyone notice the sign in being slower since the update?

    You guys are lucky you can even sign in. My brother needs a security code sent to him every time he turns his box on. He goes to his email to get the code but now his outlook email doesn't work. He hang been able to get on in a while.

    Man I'm so glad I have PSN.

    The problem maybe is didn´t MS but your e-mail server....

    I will tell a problem i have whif another game company

    I have account in Big N and i never receive e-mail i look in F.A.Q.s and discover some e-mail companies block e-mails from certains local´s...

    For fix that you have 2 simple solutions!!!

    1. In the segurity code demand you have the option to put a cellphone!!!, chose the cellphone (if you don´t included that in your account information go to your account, personal information and include your phone!!!); they will send to your phone by mensage
    in 5 or 6 minutes the code!!!(even if your phone is from "outside", like your account is US and your phone is Brazilian they will send the code!!!, but remeber to put correct, whif your country and state code!!!; your phone!!!)

    2. Change your e-mail to another maybe your e-mail service blocking all e-mail´s from MS, put (or make another)e-mail account and try again, they send that really fast in 10 or 15 minutes you will received if not..., back to step one!

    It can take quite a while for the security code to be sent via email. I have since given up on waiting and just give them my land line number. I get a call within 10 seconds of submitting the request.
