Email Problems

I have deleted my old email and therefore would like to change my email on my xbox account. I changed it but it takes a month to actually swap to my new email! I don't have my old email like I said I deleted it so I need to change it to my new one and not
in a months time.

I am sure whatever they give will be linked to the Xbox account message system.

I had that problem with using an old email. I switched the email through windows live. It took like 30 days to do that though. At least I get the emails now.

 

Forgot email and password but I have proof I own the account..

Ok so a few months ago since I basically gave up had a couple of problems with my account I had since 09 I believe and the time I made it I used a different email even to now I do not know the password or the email so when I went to switch emails it basically locked me out from the account I can still play if I disconnect the internet but I cannot even get access to it online would the live team be able to assist me with this problem I have credit card proof and everything

 

there are two types of emails that can be on Microsoft accounts

1. Used for signing in.

2. used for security purposes. (security Proofs) this is used for when you lose access to your account like if you forgot your password and Microsoft needs to verify ownership of the account they send a verification email or if you have a cell phone number
on there they will send a text with a verification code to them to verify ownership of the account to allow major things to be done to the account ( change password, recover and account when password is forgotten, change primary email addresses on account) so
basically major stuff to accounts. mainly for security purposes so no one can just hack your account.

Now the thing is this if you currently know the password and can sign into the Microsoft account but do not have access to any of the security proofs you can change the security proofs on the account but the change will not take affect for 30 days again
for security purposes so that no one can just gain access to your account and change the information on the account. now you should still be able to sign into the account and play your games the only thing the 30 day hold would prevent you from doing is anything
that requires a security proof (see paragraph above for those things.) Unfortunately the only way to bypass that 30 day hold would be to gain access back to your security proof and when you cancel the security proof change it will send a verification to that
security proof. If you do not have any way to gain access to that security proof then you will have to wait the 30 days.

The above paragraph is the only way to get past that 30 day hold xbox support is not even able to bypass the 30 day hold for you.
