    Email for Xbox sign in hacked


    A few months back my email associated with my Xbox was compromised and I still do not have access to it so can not change the email on the account due to not being able to access any confirmation codes from the said email. Now I can still log in on the Xbox using that profile but can not change the email to a new one that I created is there a way to change the email in any way to the new one I have created or is all the content that I purchased and gameplay all gone and lost. Any help would be appreciated

    Trying to change email address on my Xbox Live account

    Is the email address verified? If it is verified, sign in to account.live.com and click add or change alias. There you can add a new email, make it the primary alias and removed the hacked email address. If it is not verified, but you know the password,
    sign in to verifyme.microsoft.com and when it says your email hasn't been verified it will give you an option to change the email address you sign in with.

    This has not necessarily resolved my issue, and now after I looked at my recent activity it is showing an alias I'm not aware of with a very similar email to my sign-in email signing in like crazy while I've been unable to. Was I hacked?

    I do have an xbox. When I went to recover gamertag, my email address and password signed me into this gamertag. Not my correct one.

    I don't own FIFA,either, so it wasn't that hack

    Cannot Change Email Address Linked to XBOXLive Account

    I wouldnt say stole, but hacked. I was sent an email as to why, apparently the email was sending spam emails to people and I wasn't aware of it. I can still sign into my XBOXLive account just fine, without any problems.
