my son has deleted his xbox live account how do we retrieve it as we are not sure of the email address?

One year anniversary of the one - thanks message from xbox

I am sure whatever they give will be linked to the Xbox account message system.

I had that problem with using an old email. I switched the email through windows live. It took like 30 days to do that though. At least I get the emails now.

If you know the gamer tag for the account you can contact Xbox Support and give them the gamer tag and then they will try and send out a security/verification code to the phone and/or email on the account.

If you get that code, that will help Xbox Support unlock the account info on their screen to help them see the sign in email address of the account.

If you don't get that code you're going to be stuck.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, those are clear of the old email addresses that are being CC'd. They are not linked in any way, at least on my end, to my Xbox Live account. The only time the old emails get emailed is with Xbox Live purchase receipts or something
like a notification of Xbox Live about to renew. Again, both of the emails once were the main email address of my Xbox Live account. I'm sure that has something to do with it. Just can't find the answer of how to get them removed.

It is not a good idea to use the same email that you use for xbox live anywhere else. You should only have ONE email for xbox live.

This is not parental email for xbox live, thats the microsoft account. I want to be able to edit the parental email on my xbox live account, not microsoft account

we are signed in with the new email alias but cannot connect to xbox live. It shows his new @yahoo email instead of my old @live email.
