Email Dashboard Display

Hello There.

After the last update, your account email will display under your name (top left corner). Is there any way possible to disable/hide that email from showing up?

When I'm live streaming, people can see my email (if I go to the dashboard) ...

I research for the answer already, but didn't really find anything.

Damn, no one has had this issue? I don't know if it can be the TV, since in other games and on the dashboard it displays everything fine in full screen.

Disable "Display Discovery" under the settings on the dashboard.

I had the same issue, but found out how to fix it. If you go to your settings, then select "Account" and then "Sign-in, Security, & Passkey" there is an option to un-check the box by your email. This stops it from showing up on the dashboard. Now if only
I could figure out how to do the same with my real name showing up (without having to change the display name for my whole MSFT account), I'd be golden! No luck yet though. Hope that helps!

And yes, option for the name would be nice also. I don't really mind if people can see the name, but for now I just changed it to something different. I just don't want the email out there, I get enough spam emails already.

If the promotion was through email, and not through the Xbox One dashboard, you'll need to reach out to

Go onto your console and sign in under PassiveZero. Go all the way to the right on the dashboard to settings. Click on Account. Go two slides to the right to your information and click on account security. The email/microsoft account you should be trying
to sign in with will be displayed there. I expect that it will not be the same as your contact email you are currently signed in with.
