Email connected to my Xbox Live account and Microsoft account no longer exists...what to do?

Sorry to hear that your cousin is having issues. He can try changing the email address associated with his gamertag by following the instructions at the following link

support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

If that doesn't work he could try contacting the college and see if it's possible to temporarily re-enable his email address so he can change it to something else.

Other than that I don't know what else to suggest.

I'm having several issues with this, and they have to do more with Microsoft Live accounts than anything. 1.My GamerTag MedMan555 is connected to an old email, which is connected to it's own separate Live account. The email account has since expired, and
I don't remember the password to the Live account, so I can't get an email confirmation of the forgotten password. I filled out the questionaire in an attempt to get the password sent to my new email account, but my answers were rejected, primarily because
I'm unable to give the names and subjects of the last emails I received on that account, which no longer exists. I'm in the process of trying to re-establish the email account with yahoo, but have had little to no success with that. 2. I created a second
email account and Live Account to swith tastey poppy to, and the new Live Account under the new email was rejected because MS said it was an invalid email, so I was unable to switch Tastey Poppy from my current working email address, even if I could access
my original email address, which no longer exists. If you're not confused by now, I totally am.

in other words I can't even try:

1. microsoft account deleted two years ago, email no longer exists for about 2 years

2. after 60 or 90 days the GamerTag should be available to use but its NOT, even after almost 2 years

3. xbox profile still exists with your GamerTag but microsoft account that it was created from no longer exists for about two years so what do you want to do ?

4. Microsoft just needs a simple system cleaner like an overloaded smartphone used by teenagers...

5. So simple... microsoft email account deleted and xbox profile deleted but here we got a simple problem because the microsoft email account is deleted long time ago and xbox profile still exists blocking my GamerTag, so I cannot use it again.

so simple problem, so many time...

as I said, the former email does not exist anymore, so there's just one email left to log in with, which is email "B" as described above. Email "A" is no longer registered at Microsoft and also does not exist as a mail address anymore.

I already reset the password before posting here. Resetting the password has no effect on the issue. The only proof I have is me seeing two X-Box accounts in my game launcher. Since I merged two Microsoft accounts I assumed that the X-Box accounts would be merged as well, as these do not exist as standalone accounts without connection to a Microsoft account.

I have already tried this, the thing is that the hacker has changed the email of the account itself into a bunch of gibberish, basically rendering it impossible for me to recover as the account itself is now no longer connected to my email. It simply says my account no longer exists
