    i updated my email address few months ago. new email logs in and out of my web account fine.

    I sold my xbox 360 as i use my xbox one which has my member details.

    today i logged out on my xbox one console, when i tried to log back in it shows my old email address.

    i no longer use the old email address and cannot seem to log into my games console ??

    I can log via the web page with my new email address fine.

    The xBox one games console will not even allow me any options to request a ew password via the old email address.

    Can anyone help please.

    changing email address associated with xbox

    I had the saem problems as Fossal, after finally speaking to someone, they said I had to make another email address which had to be active for 30 days, then transfer the unsued GT off the email address I use every day so it had no GT associated to it, and then to move my gamertag that I use to my email address I use.

    Problem was, wasw tht the email address my GT was associated to had bee nhacked and was a pain to access as they kept blocking it. So I gave up in the end!

    Don't think you can.. I used two codes but had to send the other to my wife's email address. Not really a problem actually because I could have used one of my alias addresses.

    Try deleting the account, instructions
    here     and then downloading the account again with your current info.

    Hi there,

    Each Xbox Live Account will need it's own unique Email address.

    When setting up a Family you are basically grouping different Xbox Live Accounts into a small group. For example when adding child accounts too, both parents can see and maintaing the child accounts.     Hi there. yes it's still going on. I'm 100% certain that no one else is using my credentials on the Xbox. I haven't changed the password for the working credentials for a few months. Is there a way I can reset the xbox to wipe everything and restore it with
    the new working profile? Are all my loadouts, preferences, DLC etc stored on the cloud ready to percolate down to a newly wiped xbox?
