Email address in top right corner of home screen is not my current email

I recently changed my email address associated with xbox (about 2 months ago), but the email address showing in the top right corner of the home screen is still the old one. How can I change this? It hasn't caused any issues, but it's just annoying to
look at.

A question I have about Xbox Live

A question I have is when I sign in on my Xbox 360 to my Xbox Live account in the top right corner it shows your emblem along with a rotation of my gamertag name, achievement numbers, money I have on my account, and my email address linked to the account. But for some reason it doesn't show my email address when it's rotating through and instead just shows blank nothing until the next thing comes up in the rotation when it should show my email address in the rotation.

How to delete old email address

Hi. So I no longer have access to the email I first joined Live with. I changed it in my account settings. It still shows the old email address in the top right corner of the screen when it is switching back and forth between my username and the email.
I'd like to delete all references to the old email altogether. Is there a way to do that? Thanks.

Have you tried Removing and Redownloading your
Xbox Live profile from your Xbox 360 console? As long as you are currently able to log in with your new email address into Xbox Live and Xbox.com, removing and redownloading your profile is the best place to start.

I have not tried signing out yet but in the top left corner of the home screen everything is the same with the outlook email appearing along with my name.

Tap the "Profile" tab at the bottom right corner of the screen, then tap the settings icon at the top right corner. Scroll to the bottom of the settings list and tap the "sign out" button. Then go back to the "Profile" tab and you'll be able to sign in
with a different email address.

I have the same issue. Since installing the update, the email address shown in the top right hand corner has reverted to an old email address. However the account is correctly associated with my current email address, and the correct address shows up in
every other place on my system and online.

I suspect it's a bug in the update. Don't try to mess around moving accounts around, because it's more likely to break something than fix what is almost certainly an issue at Microsoft's end.

Hey there, a lot of the time this happens you have actually used the wrong email address as I believe it's impossible to have two gamertags on the one email.

To find the correct email address if you can still sign-in to the profile on the console through the auto sign-in feature you can see the email in the top right corner of the screen:
