Email address I want to change....

I want to be able to receive rewards but the email address associated with my gamer tag is not in use. The email address I want to change my current Xbox live gamertag to is already being used by another gamer tag on my Xbox, what to do?

Hi, i was wondering if i could change my xbox account email because i got this account when i was young and i used my mums email address for it. It is still under her email address and i want to change it to my own personal email address and i don't know
how to. I want to keep the same account so please help!

 

How to Change your Xbox LIVE account information

Overview

It is possible to change information associated with your Xbox LIVE account like your name, address, phone number or email address.

Note: You cannot change the country that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you have moved to another country and you would like to access Xbox LIVE from there, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.

1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

1) Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

Unfortunately, you can only have one gamertag per email address. If you want to use your current email, then you will have to use Rewards on that gamertag.
