Email account Issue

I made an Xbox account when the original 360 came out and I used it for a long time until I had to switch to the Slim 360, but when I tried to "download gamertag" I needed the email and password. When I was making the account on the original 360 I used my
little brothers email because I lacked an email, unfortunately my brother had forgotten the email address and I can't enter it to get my old gamertag back, We also forgot the password and after many attempts to find the email address we found that there is
a chance that he didn't even have an email address at the time. I don't know where the harddrive my account is on is at, but I do know the Security Question answers, so if I could just get to a point where I can try and enter security questions for the account
I would be able to get my account back.

Microsoft Account Hacked

Yup what Bloo said, my skype was compromised because of a loophople in their system when connecting your MS account to it. I went and got the verification app and no other issues, just remember don't use the same password for your email and accounts.

They break into your account they will test your email, and if it's the same or similar they'll be able to take control of everything.

Live account email

Have you got this resolved? My sister just got an Android and is having a similar issue. We wrote on the tech support forums and are just waiting for a response. I guess I'll give Live a call tomorrow if I can't figure it out soon. We both use my sister's free account so we are having the same problem. So frustrating.

you can try getting the email used by contacting xbox Support

as Long as you know the gamertag, they can look this up, then will try to make sure talking with the account owner and if satisfied can tell your email. then of course you still Need to reset the password

I think with updates throughout the years of the consoles it would have prompted you to create Security Proofs upon signing in sometimes. Such as an alternative E-mail Address or Phone Number for SMS/Call verification codes.

Simply go to support.xbox.com/contact-us and ask them to load up your account. They will verify the account by sending out a verification code to the alternative e-mail address on file, or
through sms, or both.

Once they have fully verified your ownership of the account through this method they will be able to tell you your e-mal address.

Please note: Microsoft take security of their customers very seriously. And if you cannot pass security then they will not be able to tell you the associated e-mail address for that Gamertag. If that is the case they will suggest alternative options.

I am 90% sure I don't have a Phone Number or Alternate Email Sent up with the account because I didn't have Xbox Live Gold for very long. I have contacted Xbox about the issue before, but the issue is never resolved, my friend had contacted Xbox Support
about and account issue where he put gmal instead of gmail on his email address and didn't have his problem resolved either. I will try contacting them again because it has been a few years sense I had contacted them last.

Yes we have Xbox accounts with the two of the emails.

First, it is important to ask that please refrain from sharing personal information, including email addresses, gamertags, etc.

As community users, we are not able to enter or check your account information, and everything we comment can be seen by anyone on the internet.

That being said, I'm sorry to say, but it is not possible to transfer any kind of content between Microsoft accounts. Therefore, it is not possible to do what you are asking for.

Additionally, it is not possible to add an email address that's already associated with another Microsoft account.
Probably the error you receive is due to the email you're entering is already associated with the new account your created for your son.

An alias or email address can only contain letters, numbers, dot (.), underscore (_) or dash/hyphen (-). Spaces and other special characters aren't allowed.

However, what you can do if you no longer need the email address associated with your Microsoft account is creating a new alias/email for your son and then enable it as a new way to sign in.

Actually, you can add a new email address to your daughter’s account. However, this email doesn’t need to be linked to a different Microsoft account. So you may need to create a new one or delete the Microsoft account that doesn’t have the games purchased.
