    So, i think this is the most relevant thread to post this, but i recently renewed my 12 month membership and i havnt received an email about the free games i should get (zoo tycoon, and Max curse of the brotherhood) ive tweeted the support page but they
    replied once then stopped, so i have no other choice but to ask for help here, any suggestions? ive checked the spam folder and everything

    Can you not get the free xbox gold games when you have a Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold membership?

    I got an email from xbox live about getting halo 3 free when i tried to it said i had no payment info on file & wanted a credit card. Can I not get the free game even when I paid the 59.99 for the 12 month live gold membership?

    I think it takes a few day or longer after you buy the membership to receive an email about the games if they are sending emails at all. But have you tried looking at them on the store to see if they are listed as free? It might just be given to you that
    way.

    The reason for thesis because the tenure amount is calculated by whole 12 month periods, since you only bought 1 gold membership for a full 12 month period, and you will not have accumulated a full 12 months with the 1 month memberships. The 12 month you
    got at Xmas what's not finished yet, meaning you will hit 2 years next Christmas.

    Short answer, tenure is only calculated from full 12 months of gold membership, silver and free trials do not count.
