IMO, if titanfall fails (hope not), then the xbox division is in trouble. They are in double trouble if or when Elop takes control as well as he will have extra ammunition to convince the new CEO (can't remember his name) to ditch the xbox division.

I think what everyone's concern is by his statements in the past regarding Xbox. Stating that if he were CEO he'd sell off the Xbox division. Not to mention he was the CEO of Nokia which went from top player in the mobile phone market to a steadily declining
market share and lack luster phone sales.

He was with MS in the past and left them to go work for Nokia. He was over their Office suites. Hopefully he'll do right by the Xbox brand and not try to find a way to get rid of the Xbox brand.

Still got my Xbox one and love it but glad I mostly switched to Playstation Now (PS3, vita, & PS4). Hope for the best but I don't trust Elop with MS most valuable brand right now.

 

This makes me so mad...what are they thinking with this XBox One??? It's just one bad decision after another, almost as if they are sabotaging the XBox One on purpose.

 

Stephen Elop was in charge of Nokia and did a terrible job of running them. I also think he once said that he would consider getting rid (selling, etc) of the Xbox brand from MS.

 

The CEO from Nokia, the guy that wanted to sell/get rid of the Xbox division at Microsoft.

Believe his name is Stephen Elop.

 

He killed Nokia and is one of the guys that wants to sell off XBox.

lol We no longer need to defend Xbox because Microsoft is putting the final nails in its coffin *sigh*. I mean I've fought hard to explain that the only thing the Xbox is lacking at the moment is value and this could be remedied very easily by making some
adjustments to what we get with our Gold subscription.

It is not possible that Microsoft, in fact the Satya Nadella, will put this Stephen Elop as President of Xbox Division.

This Stephen Elop these days ago was conspiring against the Xbox brand along with other shareholders mercenaries to convince Microsoft to sell or destroy the Xbox brand.

What does this guy know about games? The guy only wants to make spending cuts, get easy profit through speculation and doesn't understand anything about innovation, he simply detonated the Nokia. Now apparently the the Nadella gave carte blanche to this
guy detonate the Xbox Division.

Who has to be the front of the Xbox Division is someone who understands about games. That Microsoft put as President of Xbox Division: Phil Spencer or j. Allard or Major Nelson or Peter Moore or Alex Kipman or Bill Gates but not Stephen Elop.

Microsoft needs a President who understands Xbox games Division, which is a man between 35 to 45 years of age who understands a lot of games, you know all about games from Tetris to Killer Instinct, since Odyssey until the XboxOne, who understands market
games American, Japanese, European and Brazilian, who knows how to differentiate a game of RPG and FPS. Stephen Elop is a bureaucrat and you don't know and don't even want to know how does the world of gaming.

 

Elop is the takedown man when MS wants to buy or sell something. Looks like Xbox is gonna be sold.

It's sad balmer fired J. Allard because he was a threat to Balmers career. Being J back, he's the only exec. that cared about gaming.

 

It's no joke. It's in fact true... I mean maybe they really are looking at killing off Microsoft Xbox and spinning it off into another company or put the whole unit up for sale.

This is just about an outrage
