    Elite v2 controller Bluetooth doesn’t work after update


    Tried syncing my elite v2 to my windows 10 pc through Bluetooth and it pairs but none of the buttons work. Can’t even right click the device and test the buttons. Accessories app doesn’t see the controller. Also tried syncing it to an iPad. It syncs but none of the buttons work. Tried a normal series x controller and it worked just fine.

    Bluetooth? Xbox windows wireless adapter

    If your controller model is 1708 and 1797 (elite v2),

    you can use bluetooth connect the pc / mobile phone.

    1537, 1697, 1698 (elite) is not support bluetooth.

    Make sure you are using a V2 controller.

    The first generation of Xbox One controllers (including the Elite) don't have bluetooth and need an additional wireless receiver to work with Windows 10.

    Hello Spartan,

    Is there any updates on the accessories app being updated so that we can change controller configurations after updating the controller firmware on Xbox? It has rendered my elite series 2 nearly useless as I can’t remind my paddles and the Bluetooth doesn’t work. This is so frustrating I may return this new controller and go get something else. Please help or bring it up and let us know what’s going on.

    Amazingly, the V1 Elites don't have Bluetooth >< V2 controllers do though, so at least they figured out that was important in a top-of-the-line controller.
