Elite Series 2 unresponsive Buttons

Hello there,

"A" Button is not always recognized when pressed.

I have alread read all threads regarding this Problem. But there still seems to be no resolution.

I have received the 3rd controller by now and none of them is working correctly.

On all of them the "A" button does not recognize always. This more likely happens when not pressing it exactly straight down.

I had it replaced two times by amazon. I don't want to get further replacements that are not working.

To Microsoft:

I wish to know if there is a chance to get this repaired by Microsoft.

Is there any change to this controller planned?

Is the reason for this issue found?

How did you fix it, applying alcohol like some are proposing?

One guy from your support Hotline said there is a change planned in production to fix this issue.

Can you already say when this will be?

I'm nit sure though my elite series 2 had some issues, I had unresponsive buttons and stick drift, I took mine back to the store, but they had not elite controllers in stock I got the Razer ultimate edition instead and I'm loving it at the moment

Thanks for the reply but there are not any microsoft stores in my region. I live in Greece ,Europe. Also I wont send it for service I just unboxed it. I paid 180€ and I want A perfect product and not having to worry about shipping it to a service department.

Sorry to hear it. If the store is nearby and you have just purchased the controller then you should first try returning it for an exchange. If they cannot help then you would need to set up a repair of the controller. You can do this at https://devicesupport.microsoft.com

As every xbox controller, you have 3 month to change it for problems like these. Contact the customer service of xbox or the shop where you bought it
