    Elite Series 2 not connecting


    won’t connect via bluetooth or via usb. I’ve power cycled it, it’s very depressing owning one of these controllers and not knowing what’s the use with all the failures of the engineering. what else do I do? it’s basically unresponsive. earlier in the day during charging it would keep disconnecting randomly, now it won’t connect at all. I think the entire stock of these controllers is useless/designed to fail cause there’s no way microsoft is that incompetent with their market share. what should I do? I’ve restarted my xbox. I’ve done everything I can think of besides cutting my losses giving in to rage and smashing the controller until I can’t even tell it’s a controller anymore.

    Best controller for playing is with no doubt the elite series 2. I do not know if there is some orher type of third party controller that can have some better connectivity/personalization. But in general, series 1 and 2 of the elite are top

    Just popping in as I was also looking for an update.

    I have the elite series 2 and an iPad Pro 2018 - can confirm that it does not pair. It seems as though apple still has the device whitelisted so we're waiting for an update to allow the Elite Series 2 to connect to iOS.

    Did you find a solution to this problem? I updated my Elite series 2 yesterday, and now I have the exact same problem. Elite series 2 is recognized as a regular xbox controller and does connect via bluetooth, but doesnt work. Connected via USB-c the XBOX accessories app doesnt even recognize it...

    Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that didnt help.

    I try to connect my Xbox Elite wireless controller series 2 via bluetooth on my Ipad Pro 11 inch 2018, but it can't make connection or won't be recognized. The series 2 controller supports bluetooth. I can make connection with the other older version Xbox
    One S wireless controller immediately.

    I'd make a phone call with Apple support and they said that maybe the problem could be that the Xbox Elite controller series 2 won't be supported and isn't compatible with Ipad.

    I want to know guys if you had the same problem and I want to ask if there will be an update in the future to solve this problem?
    At the moment the series 2 elite controller is not compatible with Iphones/Ipads. At the moment the only device that the series 2 controller is available on IOS side is the Mac and even that it's janky. Series 2 controller works fine on Android at the moment.
    Sorry if this doesn't help you, I myself is waiting for the Bluetooth proprietary to be added to the IOS list

    I have 2 elite series 2, my rubber knobs on the hair trigger locks came off too.

    And My 'A' button is very bad..
