Elite Series 2 Left Analog Doesn't Click

I have 2 Elites drifting to the right from the left analog stick.

Thanks Kevin I just purchased the elite series 2 controller so I could send the old one in for repair and that has an immediate issue. The left analog stick is loose which is noticeable when clicking in.

Little bit disappointed as I purchased the controller online as nowhere local has stock so another hassle to replace.

Guess I'm just unlucky.

I have two of thy first elites and a series two . The non removable battery doesn't bother me . After awhile playing on the series 2, I do prefer that one as the analog retention is nice. The analogs can be adjusted , and the buttons do feel as loos
. I have heard of a few people having issues , however I haven't had any with mine so far.

Same issue here, left analog, Day One edition. Doesn't sound broken, but the click doesn't sound quite the same as the the right analog, was fine for a long time and only just noticed this recently.

Hi Python! Sorry to say, but the most reliable (and only supported) method to get this fixed would be by contacting Xbox Support (1-800-4-MY-XBOX) or going on the myservice.xbox.com site. They fix controllers, and yours is definitely covered by warranty.

There are a number of people on the internet discussing this issue on various controllers, but unfortunately, any do-it-yourself fix requires opening the controller, which immediately voids the warranty, and it is against forum rules to discuss such modifications.
