    Elite Series 2 Joystick drift,out of warranty,SOL?


    So, the left stick drifts... seems to be the big flaw in the series 2 elite controller.

    Mine started literally the day my warranty ran out.Can it get fixed or is paying 120$ for a new replacement body ther only option?

    One thing the xbox ps4 and switch seem to all have in common is stick drift. Starting to think they must all be made by the same company. The drift on xbox controllers tends to be minor compared to Nintendo though and usually doesnt bother the actual
    gameplay much . Try cleaning around the base of the sticks using a qtip soaked in rubbing alcohol.

    But also, sending it to the Microsoft service center had a 120$ price tag. Im hoping actually physically going to one will be less expensive.

    I would recommend sending it to a Microsoft service center

    There might be other service centers around you that might be able to fix it as well
