Elite Series 2 issues with A button not registering

So my first Elite Series 2 controller right out of the box was not consistently registering the A or Y button when pressed from certain angles. After a little practice I could replicate it to not register on a consistent basis, so it's all about the angle
that it was pressed at. Of course this is an unacceptable flaw from any controller, let alone one that costs $180, so I returned it and got a replacement from Walmart. I should note that while waiting for the new controller to show up. the first one developed
an issue where the left stick became unresponsive moving up or down. This is especially apparent when using the analog sticks to navigate game menus but it was a major problem in game, too. But anyways, I finally the recieved the replacement yesterday and
guess what? The same issue! The A button will simply not register if you press it at certain angles. The Y button seems to be fine this time around and I haven't had any issues with the analog sticks but I just don't understand how they are still shipping
controllers out with the same fatal design flaws. Having researched this problem it was a fairly common complaint going all the way back to November of 2019 with many people going back for multiple replacements only to have the same issue right out of the
box. I understand when things launch there are going to be kinks that need worked out but it's been over 6 months now and these are still defective. Where is the testing and quality control? And what do I need to do to get a controller that works properly
out of the box?
