Elite Series 2: Headset issue.

Hi there,

I have recently got my hands on an ES2 upgrading from my ES1. Everything with the controller has been working fine until I finally plugged in my Official Xbox Headset and it doesn't register at all as being connected. I've tried all troubleshooting without
success and the headset works fine when switching back to my ES1. ES2 has been updated to latest version and all Xbox settings are correct and profile assigned. Does anyone know how to resolve the issue so I can use my headset or is this a hardware issue and
I need to arrange a replacement? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Sayann,

The headset was not plugged in when I updated the controller but I went back and did this again with it plugged in and still no luck.

I've hard reset the Xbox already and tried the ES2 controller again but no luck. Switched back to my ES1 and the headset works fine. Any other suggestions or do you think this is a hardware fault and a replacement needed?

Try to make a clear cache of your console. You stay on the ignition button in front of the console until it goes off (about 10 seconds) you wait 1 minute and turn it back on. it can also come from there. otherwise it will be necessary to exchange the controller

Right now, I don't see a solution to your problem. I think you should contact Microsoft support directly to explain your problem and I think they will replace the controller. I'm sorry I couldn't help you better than that
