    Elite Series 2 disconnecting when Bluetooth Headphones are connected


    Hi,

    I have been having an ongoing problem with Bluetooth on my laptop with the Elite Series 2 controller for months. I've browsed the forums many times, and although there have been many topics on the same issue, none of them are resolved, and eventually a Microsoft
    Employee locks the thread without providing a solution.

    The issue I'm having is that the controller loses Bluetooth connection intermittently when my Bluetooth Headphones are connected at the same time. My workaround for so long has been to either use the USB cable, or connect the headphones by aux cable, which
    is inconvenient. Finally I've had enough and would like some help with this

    This is running on a Surface Book 2. I've updated all firmware, run the Bluetooth troubleshooter, all no go.

    Has anyone found a solution?

    The 3.5mm headphone jack on Xbox One/Series X|S controllers (including Elite controllers) does not work when connected via Bluetooth. It will only work via USB or the official Xbox wireless adaptor.

    Ive been having the same issues with the new controllers that use Bluetooth to connect. I notice more issues when im running/connecting multiple bluetooth devices. But overall the disconnecting happens at random times. Ive just got into the habit of plunging
    the controller in whenever i play online multiplayer games. This has happened with the series 1 and 2 elites and the newer generic controllers.

    exactly the same issue here, have no problem with using my xbox one s controller on PC, but lots of disconnections and frame rate drops with elite 2
