    Elite Series 2 Controller PC Bluetooth Disconnect


    I recently got an Elite 2 controller to play 2K on my PC. After successfully paired and connected it with my PC, in the next few days, I have experienced a frequent disconnection. The Xbox button in the center starts to blink before/during the games and
    my Bluetooth status turned back to paired instead of connected.

    Is it a driver problem or a hardware problem that I will have to get a replacement?

    XBox Elite Series 2 unplugged from PC using USB won't auto connect to Bluetooth

    I have a few Elite Series 2 controllers and they all fail to reconnect to my PC via Bluetooth after disconnecting from the USB cable. Are you saying that having to remove the device and add it in again via Bluetooth is normal/the way the controller was
    designed?! Where might I find info on this? I would like to get it figured out. Thanks.

    The elite series one controller never had Bluetooth so you would've received exactly what you ordered if you need Bluetooth you need a new edition standard controller or an elite series 2

    The Elite controllers never had Bluetooth capabilities until the release of the Elite Series 2, which was October 2019.

    the elite controller series 2 has Bluetooth compatibility and is therefore compatible with windows 10 too. the first release of the elite controller was before xbox was integrated into windows 10, therefore there was no need at the time for Bluetooth.
