    Smelled plastic burning, my elite charging brick thats in the charging case was massively hot. Melted the plastic on the port, melted the tip of the charging cable.

    Had since october, using the cord that came with the unit, nothing aftermarket or off brand. Of course no option to speak with anyone online, ill call tomorrow.

    able to get controller replacement as still under warranty, but dont see where this has happened to anyone else.

    definate safety issue as if i wasnt home, who knows how bad this could have turned out.
