Elite Series 2 controller extended warranty

I purchased an Elite Series 2 controller in August. It recently stopped working. I went to Microsoft’s support page.
My only option was to enter the serial number of my controller to see if it was still under warranty.
When I entered my number, I got a message saying it was no longer under warranty.
It is past the 90-day warranty, but the support page states that they extended the warranty to one year because of so many issues.
So now I am at a standstill. There is no way to contact anybody at Microsoft as they only have online support.
No way to chat or call. Does anybody know of away to contact Microsoft support?

They recently extended the warranty for elite 2 to one year. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/elite-controller-series-2-warranty . maybe this will help

I would recommend an Elite series 2 WITH A WARRANTY. The series 2 is a nice controller to own but has a history of breaking down at the worst times. If you get an extended warranty it will make the purchase worth it.

To ensure your satisfaction, we're extending the warranty coverage period on Elite Series 2 controllers from 90 days to 1 year from the date of purchase. This extension applies retroactively for Elite Series 2 controllers sold to date.
