Elite Series 2 controller buttons partially functioning when moving left thumbstick

Hey, so myself and a friend have noticed something with the Elite Series 2 controllers. When you move the left thumbstick to the left and try to push the Y button (either the actual button or the paddle mapped to it) it will briefly register the press,
but even with the button constantly depressed, it won't continue to register it. I've noticed the same behavior with each button in a different thumbstick position (ie A and thumbstick up, X and thumbstick right, B and thumbstick down). This occurs as well
when using the paddles mapped to those buttons. My friend returned his controller for a replacement and the same thing is happening. We've both updated the controller firmware with now change

It seems as if there are a lot of problems with the elite controllers i guess its better to buy them after theyve been out for a while huh?

Sooooo..... im on the same page as OP. Here is my fabulous story. I broke my series one yesterday by spiking it on the ground during an apex match. Thankfully i got the warrantee from game stop. I was able to use my warrantee/insurence and 30$ to get the
upgraded series 2. Out of the box the Y button was delayed. I went back, exchanged it for the same one. Got home for the second tome with another new series two...... once again the same fricking issue. Im really hoping this is firmware but i dont think so.
MS needs to get on top of this bc i am tired of spending **** tons of money and nit getting the promised product.

Hi, I Suggest you and your friend make a report about that bad funcion for then MS can make some Fix by Firmware soon

ive had four ive looked at and they all have the same problem but with the a button when using the right thumbstick this is a major problem they need to sort
