Elite Series 2 Charging Base

Okay so I just received my refurbished replacement for my Elite Series 2 controller (I did a warranty claim on my original for my left thumb stick not working) and it won’t connect to the charging base. It seems like the magnets polarization is slightly off for some reason. It keeps resting the controller everywhere but on the pins. Is there something that I can do to fix it? Or do I just need to do another warranty claim?

Thanks for the reply. The Elite controller series 2 has various methods of mapping the buttons and paddles as compared to the series 1. If you haven't done so already, I recommend taking a look at the following support articles that
can assist you in determining how to set up the different functions, including how to use Shift with the controller to give you alternate inputs:

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this question. As the Ambassadors have previously stated, the USB-C cord that comes with the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 can be used to charge the controller, as well as connect it to your PC or
console so that you may use it in a wired capacity.
