You can try contacting support to see if there is anything they can do, but when sending in the controller it does state to only send the controller itself as nothing else is guaranteed to come back. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Well, I guess I'll just give up, I already tried contacting support about it, but nothing. I understand the part about the controller itself, but I thought the replacement will come in a empty carrying case. So, I didn't think much of it. Microsoft should
put the elite controller cases up in the store so if this happens, someone can just buy a new one.

Sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with the current Xbox controllers, however, the question forum is the incorrect place to post your feedback. Unless you are asking about current Xbox controller advancements in-which case that would be the Xbox Elite Controller
Series 1 and Xbox Elite Controller Series 2. The Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 being the newest on the market and being awarded,

Mild Soap and Warm Water should do the trick. If you want you can also use a soft sponge or cloth the wash it with. Just rinse it off with warm water after wards and leave it to dry.
