    This is my third and probably last Elite controller. Series ones were great! Until your left or right bumper inevitably broke. Series 2 has been a P.O.C. since I received it. The day it arrived in the mail it just randomly disconnected from my Xbox. Silly
    me for expecting a speedy firmware update to come out to fix that issue and here we are 6 months later and no updates. Secondly, outside of the warranty window and my left bumper barely works. It clicks, but most the time is unresponsive. Has anyone cracked
    this thing open yet and cleaned the switches to maybe fix this issue? Or is this just a $200 piece of trash? Hopefully ASTRO comes out with a controller like they did for PS4. You would think after one class action lawsuit they would fix their controllers.

    no don't buy an elite series 2 because ive had 2 brand new elite series 2 and they where both broken out of the box

    I have 2 elite series 2, my rubber knobs on the hair trigger locks came off too.

    And My 'A' button is very bad..

    90 day warranties sound like the dumbest thing on earth, about time they follow uk or even eu on this, we in the uk get 1 full year warranty for all electrical items, in the eu its 2 years.

    90 days for any warranty sucks, sorry but lucky i dont live there.

    It's next to impossible to get help regarding this issue. My son's controller, which was purchased as a Christmas gift is having left bumper issues and the only response I get is that's its our of warranty, 100 dollars to repair. This is an item that
    cost nearly 200 retail and only offers a90 day warranty with ANY general repair costing the owner $100. This is such poor customer serving that I'm in awe of the fact that someone at Microsoft thought this was a good business decision. It's things like this
    that make you question the idea of brand loyalty. I'm an original xbox owner and have owned every xbox system thus far and have passed that loyalty on to my children, we have a total of 3 xbox ones in our home each with gold live, we are LITERALLY the key
    demographic for Xbox and its stupid decisions like this that cost them. We are moving on from Xbox to the ps5. If Microsoft doesn't correct this narrow mindedness they will soon start hemorrhaging customers to their competition.

    Just tried again no success. Since the warranty is done i cannot create a service order. I would need a direct line to someone who actually cares to fix something after touting how durable it would be. Thanks for replying.
