Elite Pro Tactical Audio Controller Question

I have the Elite Pro headset and Tactical Audio Controller connected to my XBOX One and Elite controller. My friends have complained that they hear an echo from me while everything sounds normal from my perspective. When I have the headset connected directly
to the controller without using the TAC the echo disappears.

I updated the firmware last week and all cables are firmly connected. Xbox One settings are set in accordance with the installation instructions.

Any idea what the cause is? Is there a simple solution?

I just bought the Xbox One X and getting ready to set up,

I was a PC gamer for years and years but my $5000 gaming rig has started to fail and die and due to the lack of high-end video cards

and CPU's I decided to jump ship and join the console gaming world.

My hardware

Console: Xbox One X

Monitor: LG 27UK650-W

Sound Controler/Amp: Turtle Beach Elite Pro Tactical Audio Controller

Headset and Microphone: Sennheiser Game One

Looking for the best setup help/support/suggestions for the above hardware configuration, please.

Sounds like the issue may be with the adapter, would you be able to test the adapter with another headset or controller to see it that makes any difference.
