Elite Pad Loose sticks

I spent more than the asking price for one of these pads, the pad has a great feel, shame that the analog sticks have already become loose, really poor show from Microsoft on the build, considering how much they cost they could of made the analog stick base
out of something that wasn't going to crack.

I have 2 year old pads that have lasted longer!!!

Xbox One Controller - Analog Stick Faulty

Superglue my own thumb stick, sounds risky. Just keep sending back for replacement by MS. Eventually they will fix this and you will get XB1 controller v2 with fixed sticks...finger crossed. Of my two pads, one has loose left thumb stick and the other
has loose right thumb stick /sigh.

 

Why did they make the analog sticks on the Xbox One controller so loose?

I quite like the sticks, don't really think they're too loose at all.They're easy to move around but have enough resistance to know where you are and that you are actually pushing it around.

If you think these sticks are loose, go pick up a PS3 pad and play around with that for a bit. It's like moving your finger around in water.

 

Hi DAJAXMAN, I would recommend you to contact xbox customer suppor. They can help you out replacing the faulty parts of your controller. If the issue is only with the detachable buttons, an order can be placed for you so you will receive another one for
free, exactly what has gone faulty. If the actual joint of the controller is damaged and the thumbstick is getting loose then a replacement of the controller can be aranged. Please do not try any u verified and unofficial things from reddit... Worst case scenario,
it can void your warranty. You can take advantage of this because through xbox support at least you know is 100% legit and you will get a certified piece back. All the best!

 

I'm so annoyed I got the elite controller I love it so much it's un real but wen I got it the sticks we a little lose I didn't think anything of it until they got looser so I sent it back to get fixed I had no other remote my sister lent me hers I had to
wait a week for my remote back it was all fixed it was awesome but here I am 3 months later and the sticks or even ore loose then before it's rly affecting the way I play It so hard to push it slightly so I can move carefully across a small beam or walk it
sucks I wanna send it back to get fixed but it's only ganna happen again so I want know how to fix It my self

We don't recommend fixing controllers yourself, as it voids the warranty. If your controller is still in warranty sending it out for a repair/replacement is going to be your best option for this. So that we can best help you out, please create a new thread
