    Elite pad grips?


    Hi, had my elite pad for about 9 months, the grips have come off on one side, does anyone know if Microshaft will supply new ones I can glue on or whether they will replace the pad? I can't find the receipt but I don't need one for replacement of goods
    within 12 months of purchase anyway so not really a biggie.

    There is a huge issue online about the problem I have, does anyone know if they've accepted liability for it like they did the red rings?

    Really annoyed at the amount of money they cost to just fall apart, makes me not want to promote the brand anymore.

    contact Xbox support tell them when you bought it and explain what's going on I know that elite have for the most part a year warrenty you may have to pay shipping but they will repair or send you a new one. if you escalate it.

    My daughter bought me an elite control pad for my birthday,May 3rd.It broke 20 days later.The RB button came off as I was playing.It has a 3 yr warranty bought from JB Hi Fi. Today it broke again.The RB button came off as I was playing.Today is the 10th
    of June.It lasted a whole 18 days.What a joke. I will replace it tomorrow. Realize my 3 yr warranty restarts when I do this. Please send more Elite control pads to Victoria,Australia.I suppose I'll be back at this forum in another 18 - 20 days.

    Proof of purchase is required to get warranty service on any controller.

    Without your proof of purchase Microsoft will not offer a replacement

    Hey there Sqwidge,

    So you're having problems with your Elite Controller?

    Normally you should be able to create a repair order for that online via the
    Device Support     website.

    However, if it doesn't pick up your warranty the way it should, I would
    Contact Support     directly.

    They should be able to bring up the warranty status of any controller you have and be able to communicate your options as well.

    Under UK retail law you only need a receipt for refund with 28 days, you can get a replacement for upto 12 months without one.

    Under UK retail law you only need a receipt for refund with 28 days, you can get a replacement for upto 12 months without one.

    Highly recommend elite pads even if you don’t use the paddles purely for the diamond grip and hair triggers
