how do you join the game preview program?

When you search on the main Xbox.com page on "Game Preview Program" the link to download Elite Dangerous is returned. There is a free trial or it can be purchased, as is. It cost $30.99.

Before anyone hands them 30 bucks read the description very carefully. After you've done that take a trip over to Steam and read about the issues with "Early Access" games (called Game Preview Program on the One) and read about the number of those games
that did exactly what the description says the devs may do.

Paid beta and alpha testing has become far to common on the PC and not something I want to see on the console.

i think we are supposed to get the pc version right now, but thats unfinished too. But its still the full game because thats where the development team is right now. the wait is killing me though.
