Elite Dangerous Refunded by Support without me asking

Hey all! I'm reaching out to see if anyone may know what my next step should be in this process.

I purchased Elite Dangerous back in December when it was on sale. They just did a major update to the game and split it into three separate items. There seemed to be an issue that affected people with lots of DLC and downloadable games where it did not trigger
the change for them. This cause users not to be able to log into the game.

Before knowing this was widespread, I called Xbox Support for assistance on Wednesday morning. After having me power-cycle and verify I was logged in with the right profile, the gentleman just processed a refund and told me to re-purchase the game. Note,
I never asked for a refund. I just wanted to be able to play the game I purchased.

The issue there is that I paid a discounted amount for the game when I bought it during the daily deals after Christmas, and so that is what they refunded and removed the game license from my account. So, if I want to purchase it again, I now have to spend
additional money. This did not seem right to me, and so I contacted support again on Wed. evening. That gentleman said that since there was still an issue with the game to wait until it was fixed and then contact support back.

So, this morning I see the news that it has been fixed. I call support back and was told that since the refund was already processed that there is nothing they can do. They cannot add the license back or cancel the refund. They cannot offer me any sort of
reimbursement for the extra amount so that I can buy the game. They apologized but said that it is done now. I mentioned to them that I never wanted the game removed, and that I called them so that I could play the game, and that this was done by their own
representative and not through my own decision. She said she could not speak for the other representative, but that once the refund was completed there was nothing they could do, and if I wanted to buy it again I would have to pay the increased price.

I requested to speak to a supervisor and was on hold for 45 minutes before getting to talk with him. All he was able to do was state the same thing. He said he would advise his manager of the situation, but that there was nothing they could do at a call
center level for me.

So, at this point, I'm not sure what else to do. I sent a tweet to Major Nelson asking for assistance, but with the amount of tweets and messages he receives, I do not honestly believe he will respond. And so, I'm asking if you guys have any suggestions?
Thank you in advance, and sorry for this little rant…just frustrated, but as I told the supervisor, I still love Xbox as a brand, this is just a small unfortunate blemish that I hope can be rectified soon.

Elite Dangerous license replaced by Elite Dangerous Physics Engine license

Hi,

Guys, I need help on this case. I bought, back in 20/08/2015, the game Elite Dangerous and last week I downloaded the free content called Elite Dangerous Physics Engine.

I tried to install the game again to play once more after the DLC, but it wasn't showing on my ready to install list, in the store it's asking me to buy it again. The game isn't between my hidden installations (RT+LT+Y).

The Order Number for this purchase is 567172081640797429.



Could you guys help me?

 

Error code 0x8b050033 when starting a game

I had the same problem but when I tried to reinstall the game everything installs without a problem except for elite dangerous core which just stop installing without downloading
