    Elite Controllore Configuration Problem


    Hi, my xbox elite controller doesnt work properly. At the first start i made the firmware update (2.3.2388.0 new) and it work fine but when i try to make a new configuration the app doesnt save anything neither the community configuration. What can i do?

    Controller won't work!!!

    my controllor won't do anything I've tried nex batteries and tried the USB cable but even the light won't come on

    Elite Contoller community configurations

    Hi jeremyg237,

    Normally, you need to use the Xbox accessories app to configure your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller so that you can decide how you would like to set up and configure your controller. Currently, we don't have the option that you had on your other devices.
    However, I would recommend that you suggest it to our Xbox Team through our
    Xbox UserVoice     page so that they could consider it in the future updates for the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller.

    The Xbox Elite Controllor 2 Help!

    Hello @XxDarkMario17xX!

    With controller issues like these, I would suggest few fix below. Please give it a try and let us know the results.

    Power cycle to your controller :

    1. Press and hold the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off.
    2. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Xbox button again to turn the controller back on.
    Update the controller:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Under Profile & system, select Settings.
    3. Under Devices & connections, select Accessories.
    4. On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller.
    5. If it says there’s no update available, your controller is current. If it says “Update,” follow the steps provided.
    6. Once your controller is updated, disconnect the USB cable and try connecting wirelessly again.
    Check the controller's button mapping setting:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Under Profile & system, select Settings.
    3. Under Devices & connections, select Accessories.
    4. On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select Configure.
    5. Carefully review the current mapping for each of the buttons on your controller. You can also select Restore to default to set the controller back to its original button mapping.
    Also, I will need you to preform a Soft Factory Rest by selecting Reset and keep my games & apps. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data that can cause this issue without deleting your games or apps.

    To Reset your console: Select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
