Elite Controller

If you've tried everything here and your controller is still funky, then please start a new thread so we can help you out here in the forum. Include the following info in your post so we get a good picture of what's going on:

• What exactly is happening with your controller? Disconnecting, won't connect, shutting down?
  
• Does it happen during a specific activity? If the issue only crops up while playing a certain game or app, include that in your post.
  
• What have you tried so far? Please be specific and list the steps you've done. Saying "everything" may result in us asking you to repeat stuff you've already tried.
  

1 when i shut off the console the elite controller sends static through my astro head set i would also like to point out that i am using the latest preview update as of 6/15/16 the one that just came out if your trying to replicate and you need exact conditions
but it was doing this before the update.

3 well i'm shutting it off so no i guess unplugging the head set would work

4 another thing i'm using astro mix amp m80 with the a40s

Have you had this issue prior to having the update ? If not then I suggest reporting it via the report button on the preview app and maybe making a forumpost on the preview forums for troubleshooting steps if any are available.

As FearedNightmare says, you should always post issues like this in the Preview forum if you suspect the Preview build. You will get more immediate support and the issue will get logged with an engineering team.

So... I have bought 2 separate elite controllers, and have come to the same issue, they do not stay connected at all, I've run through every support thread and have updated the controller to the newest version, I have called 2 times, been on the chat thingy
3 times had them send a replacement controller 1 time and an entirely new xbox one, still the issue ensues. I am fed up this is horse**** and it needs to be fixed, my batteries are duracell quantum, I've used energizers, the rechargeable energizers, the Kodak
batteries, and rayovac, nothing works, the xbox is nowhere near a device which has any live power to them, my phone is like 8 ft away, and my laptop as well, the thing is hardwired via ethernet cord and is connected to a benq monitor via cable, there was no
issue for about 3 months, then bam, shuts down every 20mins, sometimes less, I've tried with/without a headset and this needs to be fixed

 

first off infinite timmy10 your issue is way beyond mine i only have static none of the other issues second i'm pretty sure its m80 since my astro tr mix amp has no issues so if i want to continue this i'll take it up with astro which i'm not
