Elite controller

Was finally able to order one but am wondering if the buttons (AXBY) are likely to last longer than the normal model. I usually replace my controller once a year due to one or more of those buttons starting to stick

I have the controller and it is VERY sturdy.

Due to the investment, I would make sure not to be eating finger foods/snacks while using it. You know what I mean?

 

I know what your saying and i don't eat while I'm playing anyways and it'll be kept safe I was just wondering if it'll last me longer than the normal controller

 

just dropped mine stick bent . thats the end of that then

 

I wasn't going to invest in one until I got a better idea of how well they will hold up, especially in the 'thumbstick drift' department... but... I ended up getting one for a gift. I really couldn't say if the buttons are better built. To me they feel more
solid, but IDK. I can tell you that my buttons probably will last longer though. Once I got used to the paddles, the buttons don't get used half as much.

 

Great controller and I'm glad I got one, however the AXBY feel exactly the same as my 2 normal controllers. I can't confirm that they are the same because there is no way I'm opening mine up, it was $200 AU

 

Start washing your hands at least once a week and the buttons will last much longer.

 

I thought I remembered watching something during E3 on the Elite controller and how the button mechanisms were different on the elite controller than the regular control. You'd probably be able to find it on youtube.

 

@SIDTHEVID Stick bent huh? I thought the sticks were made of metal...

 

^They are. It's like a hollow tube so they can sit on the shafts that come from the controller. Mine seem pretty solid. I can't imagine them bending unless they take a pretty good hit... but I'm not dropping it to find out...

 

I've been using my elite controller for awhile now I like it. The paddles take some getting used to they should take some wear off the buttons. I just wish I could find the charger stand everyone seems to be sold out

 

I like my Elite Controller just fine. Very sturdy, comfortable. I've had it since it first came out. Even dropped it a couple of times. Quite sturdy! Also like that it has some weight to it, and solid.

 

Well I've finally tried some configs with positive outcomes. Just Cause 3 I have the hook linked to the back/right/bottom paddle and the execution of flight and aiming while shooting is seamless. GOW2 I have the d-pad left/right/up/down on the back paddles
which is excellent once you get up and down worked out. Am I missing something? or do we have an "Elite Controller Configs" thread? I think we should be able to share some excellent combos.
