Elite controller

Hey

Im having some big issues with my elite controller,

when i first got it i used it on the pc (windows 10), plugged it in and straight away the xbox button lite up and i could use it, no problems there,

Then i used it on the xboxone, i plugged it in and used it straight away, problem was i was playing my game then after a short time my screen would dull as it does after no activity, kept doing it, only fix was to keep going to the dash, (playing the crew),
also noticed it was saying my battery was low even though i have it plugged in ? infact ive only used it plugged in yet my batteries are nearly dead ?

So ive now gone back to my pc and plugged it in but all it does is rumble, the xbox button wont lite up, i press it and it flashes for 10 or so secs then goes out, my pc isnt recognizing the controller ?

Ive never had so many problems with a controller, and considering its built for the xboxone and windows 10 im shocked at having so many problems with it

Anyone with any help plz ?

Hey all,

I've been having issues with the Xbox Accessories app in regard to the elite controller. The controller works fine but the app does not work at all. It keeps going to an update needed for the app and there isn't an update needed at all. Tried doing everything
xbox support said to do on the website with resetting the firmware update and factory reset and nothing works...took my xbox back to gamestop for warranty and the next xbox is doing the same thing.

It HAS TO BE an application issue with the Xbox Accessories app or something wrong with Xbox updates.

Anyone else having this issue?

 

yes, Scorpid, same thing here. started for me last night when I tried to access the app to set my paddle settings after BOIII went live. I have uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times with no luck. this time I hard reset the console. when I turn it back
on I'll redownload the app and see if the hard reset cleared the cache for the app.

 

for what it's worth, deleting the app, hard shutdown, then redownloading seemed to work. we'll see if the app goes wonky again within the next few days.

 

Am also getting the prompt that my batteries are low - funny when there are no batteries at all in the controller it is just using cable to Xbox One

I am playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and have mapped one paddle to the Right Stick thumb press which is the survival instincts button in game - often the paddle will stop responding unless I go to the dashboard and back again

Hoping the new dashboard update might help but am uncertain

 

Might sound daft but have you guys tried sticking some batteries in and trying it wireless? You never know, may sort the issue's out.

 

My Elite suddenly won't hold a charge for either the official battery pack or Eneloops - there are some suggestions the braided cable gives out but that thing hardly gets any wear

Am trying another cable to see if the controller charges through that
