Elite controller wont connect to Pc

it doesnt show in device manager ive tried all of my ports in my computer

I see, what happens when you connect it to your PC? Does it vibrate and does the Xbox logo flash?

Have you tried anything else, such as plugging it into a different USB port on your PC?

Also, make sure you're using a USB data cable, not a charging cable. It's a common mistake, as these cables visually look the same. But a charging cable only charges, it cannot send a data signal which is necessary for controller connection.

If you're unsure if your cables are compatible, it may be best to purchase a new USB data cable just to be certain.

I see, what cable did you get? It could be a faulty USB-C port on your controller. In that case I'd recommend requesting a repair for your controller: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/select-device-for-repair

yes i can use bluetooth on xbox and wired they both work but not on my computer
