Elite controller warranty repair/replacement - where/how/etc?

They will replace/repair out of warranty controllers so long as they are not Elite controllers.

Thanks for the reply containing an update. At this point, since you've fully updated your PC and the drivers, etc, tried wireless and wired connections to attempt to update the Elite controller, as well as other devices and other internet connections, the
fact that your Elite Controller will not update or accept an update likely means that there is something wrong with the controller itself and it may need either replacement or repair. If your Elite controller is in warranty, then I would recommend that you

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on a repair. Unfortunately, Xbox controllers( not counting Elite controllers) only have a 90 day warranty. If the controller is 5 months old, then it would not be in warranty for a repair/replacement.

I have replaced them under UK warranty laws that cover us for 12 months.

Can I ask for your help? I'm in the UK too, looking to replace my 11 month old Elite for the same rubber grip issues, but Microsoft's support site is giving me the run around. Where exactly do you have to go to arrange the replacement under warranty?

I've found a page where I can fill out a repair order, but the only options available for "repair type" are to replace the removeable parts, not replace the controller itself.
