    Elite controller vibration broken


    got the controller yesterday, everything was fine then a few hours into halo the right side vibration started making an almost electric shaver kind of noise. Went into the app to test and sure enough one side is pretty much toast. Can't seem to register
    the device as the serial # is too long for the entry box on this site. Supper aggravating after dropping $150 on this thing.

    Controller stopped vibrating after update

    Like the title says. I play with vibration on and after a recent controller update has broken my vibration. Even when I go to setting and buzz the controller, nothing. It is fully charged and vibration works fine on my second controller.

    Possible controller glitch

    Cleaning the controller worked perfectly although one of the vibration motors is a little broken.

    Have you tried contacting Microsoft/Xbox support about this issue?

    Talked to support and they're replacing the controller. Unfortunate that there are issues with a controller of this price.

    Hey there the A O D.

    Really sorry to hear about the vibration issues with your controller. Have you tried reaching out to the retailer for an exchange by chance? I know that the controllers are a bit hard to come by at the moment, but they may have some available for exchanges
    like this.

    If you're not able to exchange at the retailer you can set up a replacement for the controller on our
    Online Service Center. You'll need to register your Xbox One, but then you should be able to set up a repair/replacement for the controller.

    Change controller vibration on Xbox One
    Press the Xbox button to open the Panel, then select System > Settings.
    Select Accessibility > Controller, then select Vibration Settings.
    Choose the controller you want to edit and select Configure.
    For an Elite Xbox controller, select the configuration profile you want to edit. Then Select Edit > Vibrate and move scrollable sliders to adjust vibration settings.
    For the Xbox Wireless controller, select Enable Vibration to turn controller vibration on or off.

    - Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select Profile & system > Settings.

    - Select Accessibility > Controller, and then select Vibration settings.

    - Choose the controller you want to change and select Configure.

    For an Elite or Elite Series 2, select the configuration profile you want to change, select Edit > Vibration, and then move the sliders to adjust the vibration.

    For an Xbox Wireless Controller, select Turn on vibration to turn vibration on or off.
