Elite Controller V2 XBox Button is Cyan while connected to PC

Okay let's try this again. I tried reaching out via the "experts" chat and got jack diddly other than "Look it up on youtube". Bugger me sideways, this is really annoying. I want XBox to give us back the actual OFFICIAL Xbox Support Chat for crying out loud. Dumping everyone's problems on the community itself is just plane stupid.

Anyway, here's whassup:

- When my controller is plugged into my Series X, it's totally fine. White XBox button.

- When I plug it into my PC (this started an hour or so ago) it's like...a cyan...turquoise color.

- NO I did NOT utilize any mods.

- NO I did NOT mess with the controller's software.

- Not ONE guide I found on youtube helped with this. All I found was a guide to do it on XBox (which didn't work) and a bunch of modders and clickbait vids.

Here are my questions:

- What does this color on the XBox Button LED mean, if anything?

- How do I make it stop?

The controller seems to be working fine otherwise. It's just the LED in the XBox button. I worry it might indicate something I'm unaware of.

I spoke to a Microsoft agent earlier to find out if he would know what's going on but for him, this is also new and he had no troubleshooting to recommend other than sending the controller in for repair. I've also never seen the problem until now and haven't found anything useful about it.

I recommend reporting the problem for engineers to take a look.

If you use Steam it's actually an update that's been done through them. You can actually change the color through their settings.

To change it:

In Big Picture mode, click on the gear in the upper right corner.
Go to the controller settings section and make sure the “Support for advanced Xbox features” option is enabled. You may need to restart your computer if you only enabled the option. Disable this feature if you don't want the colors.
Next, in the controller settings, click on the connected Xbox One Elite Controller Series 2 controller, go to its settings. There will be an RGB slider that allows you to customize the color of the menu button.

Also, you can still contact support via chat at http://suppprt.xbox.com/contact-us If you don't see the option, change the category/topic until you do. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually work.

If your controller model is 1708 and 1797 (elite v2),

you can use bluetooth connect the pc / mobile phone.

1537, 1697, 1698 (elite) is not support bluetooth.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. I understand you are having issues with the elite controller V2 staying connected via Bluetooth and hard-wire. Do you have other controllers you can test out on your Pc to see if the issue is specific to the
elite controller? If you don't have another controller, would you be able to test out the elite on a different Pc?
