    Elite Controller V2 - Using with PC and Xbox One


    I recently received my Elite V2 controller and am having an issue going back and forth between my Windows 10 PC and Xbox.

    I connected the controller using the included USB cable to my PC and was able to play games without issue. I then connected the controller to my Xbox One wirelessly and also didn't have any issues.

    However, when I connect the controller through the USB cable to my PC, the controller loses its connection to the Xbox. To use the controller with the Xbox I have to reconnect it using the bind buttons. I would like to use the controller with both systems,
    but each time I use it with the computer, the wireless connection seems to reset. I would rather not use the controller wired on both systems. Bluetooth is completely disabled on my computer.

    Is there a problem with my controller or is this intended behavior?

    Bluetooth? Xbox windows wireless adapter

    If your controller model is 1708 and 1797 (elite v2),

    you can use bluetooth connect the pc / mobile phone.

    1537, 1697, 1698 (elite) is not support bluetooth.

    Hi You can post in the Xbox Insiders subreddit. You can send in an idea through the
    Xbox ideas hub to have this setting (Hopefully) implemented in the future.

    Unfortunately that's its intended behaviour, nothing wrong with the controller.
    Could I ask why that is and if there is a possibility that could be addressed in an update? It seems odd that a USB connection clears the Bluetooth connection. I could understand when using with an Xbox to keep things simple, but not with a PC. This is an expensive
    controller and I was hoping to use it easily with both devices.
