Elite Controller Up button no longer works

Hello,

When I use my XBox One Elite Controller, the Up button doesn't respond. I went to the store and they said that because it's out of warranty I can only buy a new controller. Same thing here on the website.

There has to be a better option than purchasing another $150 controller. Even sending it in for service or a repair place...this is a little ridiculous. I see that a lot of people are having issues with their Elite Controllers, so is Microsoft going to
do anything, or do am I just out of luck?

Button remapping no longer working on Elite Controller

I think I worked it out.

The app is backwards.

The "map to" button is the top selection now. The "donor" button is now below.

Stupid layout. So confusing. I swear it was never this difficult before... (sigh)

Is anyone else having issues remapping buttons on their elite controller? I am now getting a no symbol when trying to remap buttons to the P buttons on the back. I then loaded a profile for a previous game that had the P buttons mapped and tried to change
it, only to get the no symbol again. Tried to change it back and I'm unable to do so now. Help!

If it's out of warranty, the chance you have is to send to repair to microsoft but you have to pay :S

 

Thanks for that, but I just got off the phone with Microsoft Xbox Support and they said that they don't do repairs on Elite Controllers. Looks like I will have to find a 3rd party to repair it.
